As hosts of the 2021 winter meeting of the Anatomical Society, we are delighted to invite you to University College Dublin for this event. Our campus is in a city which is home to three medical schools and Ireland's only veterinary college. While the theme of the meeting is 'Anatomy through the lens of imaging' the scope of the meeting is not restrictive and submissions from all aspects of anatomical research and education are welcomed.
Our invited keynote speakers are leaders in their area of research and have international reputations. We will also have a lively social aspect to the meeting with both an on-campus student event and a gala dinner.
The meeting will open on 5 January 2022 at 1.30pm and close on 7 January 2022 at 4pm.

Meet the JoA Editors with Q&A on the art of being published. The workshop will be held on the 5th January 2022 (Wednesday ) from 11:30 am till 12:30 noon.
Attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts using the template. The abstract template can be downloaded from the 'More Information' section on the top right of this page.
Abstract submissions for posters and orals should be submitted through the booking site by clicking on the “Log in to make a booking” link above.
COVID Procedures in Place
As this is an in-person event, the following requirements are in place:
- Delegates will have to provide proof of vaccination on arrival at the meeting venue.
- Face masks are mandatory while indoors, except when eating or drinking.
- Food, coffee and tea are provided only in designated seating areas which does not include the auditorium.
For travel to Ireland, your country's proof of vaccination or of COVID-19 recovery is required. Completion of an online passenger locator form prior to travel is essential. More details can be seen at these sites:
Travel from Dublin Airport
The cheapest option for transport is to use the Aircoach which runs every 15 minutes to the city centre and passes UCD campus and the main hotels used by delegates. Tickets and the route can be seen at https://www.aircoach.ie/ Coach 700 travels through the city centre to UCD and locality.
A return ticket from the airport to UCD campus is €15 (£ 13). There are two airport terminals- Terminal 1 is used by Ryanair.
Travel from Dublin Port
The ferry terminal is served by taxis and a solitary bus link from the city centre, details here: https://www.dublinpublictransport.ie/dublin-port-bus
Dublin has multiple chain and independent accommodation in the city centre these can be booked through any online travel website. Please book using any reputable travel website.
