Anatomy and its role in society: Application and Impact

We look forward to welcoming you to the Winter meeting of the Anatomical Society. This key event for anatomists will take place between 17th-19th December 2025, at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, UK

This meeting will focus on the role anatomy and anatomical knowledge has within our society, with a focus on its wider application and impact. Subthemes within the meeting will include:

  • Anatomical education and the impact this has on learners of anatomy
  • Anatomical outreach and public engagement and the impact this has on the public
  • Anatomical research and the impact of this, under further subthemes of human interfaces and ergonomics, development, technology, EDI and clinical/ surgical applications
  • The current landscape of ethics in anatomy

Early-Bird Registration opens Monday 6th October 2025 - available until Friday 21st November 2025 at 23:59 GMT:

·        Member (Anatomical Society): £140

·        Non-Member: £175

·        Early Career Member/Student Member (Anatomical Society): £75

·        Student Non-Member: £100


Late Registration is from Saturday 22nd November 2025:

·        Member (Anatomical Society): £160

·        Non-Member: £200

·        Early Career Member/Student Member (Anatomical Society): £90

·        Student Non-Member: £115

Final registration closes Monday 1st December 2025 at 23:59 GMT

Please note if capacity for the conference is reached before registration closes, registration will close early.

IMPORTANT: You must complete the registration payment before marking your booking as complete. Please note your booking will not be valid unless you have paid.

Please note, the Gala dinner is included in the ticket price, but you will need to tick the box during registration to ensure your attendance, as spaces may fill up. Please note any dietary requirements during registration.
