Conference Theme
Anatomical Education & Imaging
There are many novel and innovative ways that anatomists are educating others post-pandemic, with that including far more imaging modalities and techniques than before.
Imaging is a broad term and can include radiography, virtual/augmented/mixed reality, 3D scanning and printing, medical art, microscopy, endoscopy, and likely many more.
Abstract & Artwork Submission
Conference Abstracts
Abstract submissions close: Monday 18th November 2024
We welcome abstracts on all areas of anatomical education, especially where they integrate any types of imaging, and any areas of imaging, especially those that are novel and have innovative uses related to the field of anatomy.
Any topics related to EDI within anatomy are also encouraged.
There is a particular interest on MicroCT imaging at this conference, and should you wish to present on that topic you may be asked to contribute a manuscript for a symposium issue in the Journal of Anatomy.

Gala Dinner
The Gala Dinner will be held at Bistrot Pierre at The Church, 83B Fishergate, Preston PR1 2NJ, on Tuesday 7th January from 19:00.
This is located just a short walk from the Premier Inn and located on one of the main streets in Preston.
Please indicate during registration if you are planning to attend the Gala Dinner and also indicate any dietary requirements during registration.

Getting to Preston by:
· Rail
o Preston Railway Station is a 5-minute walk from our recommended hotels and a 10-minute walk to the conference venue.
o Trains from all over the UK can get to Preston, including multiple a day from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, York, Leeds, Birmingham, and London.
o It also has direct train links with Manchester Airport and Birmingham International.
· Bus
o Preston Bus Station is a 15-20-minute walk to our recommended hotels and a 15-minute walk to the conference venue.
o National Express coaches from destinations across the UK operate to Preston.
· Car
o Preston has multiple exits from the M6.

o If you wish to park your car on campus during the conference, please contact us in advance at anatomy@uclan.ac.uk.
· Plane
o Preston has regular direct train links with Manchester Airport and infrequent direct train links with Birmingham Airport, both international airports. There are also direct links with Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and London - all of which have international airports.
